How can I reset the DraftSight license information on an Apple Mac computer?

Please follow these steps to refresh the license information on the computer. It can resolve some activation problems. 

  1. Ensure that DraftSight is not running. Browse to this location where the DraftSight serial number information is stored: ~/Library/Preferences/com.solidworks.licenses.serialnumbers.plist
  2. Rename the above .plist file to "com.solidworks.licenses.serialnumbers.plist_old"
  3. Start DraftSight again. It will prompt you to enter your serial number.
  4. Follow the steps to reactivate your license.
